Senior NodeJs Engineer

- You will be writing optimized Code in Javascript/Typescript and working with Advanced NodeJs frameworks mostly with NestJs
- You will participate in regular design sessions, code reviews and agile ceremonies.
- You will work closely with the Product Owner/Manager and scrum team to help deliver high quality features inside of agreed timescales
- You will Identify areas for modification inside code-base and champion their improvement
- You will lead by example, contributing to a culture of high quality, personal ownership and customer focused execution
- You will also coordinate with Clients directly on various aspects of the project lifecycle.
- You will monitor your own solutions/implementations and optimize the code to use deliver high performance and less size of NodeJs Components
- You will engage in Unit Test Creation and ensure that the practices are being followed.
- You will be building reusable components and back - end libraries for future usages.
- Sometimes you might be giving technical interviews to clients or internal teams before you are onboarded on new projects.
- 3-5+ years of development experience
- Strong experience with Typescript and JavaScript, NodeJs, ExpressJS,
- Strong experience with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL
- Strong experience with NestJs Framework and TypeORM/Prisma/DrizzleORM
- Modern source control systems (like Git, Bitbucket )
- Analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codes by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development life cycle.
- Strong experience in Designing, extending, and implementing REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Exposure of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices (DevOps)
- Experience with Any Testing Tools including Mocha, Chai, Enzyme, Istanbul, Selenium, Load Runner, JSLint and Cucumber.
- Exposure to Design patterns, Clean coding practices and SOLID design principle.
- Good Exposure to asynchronous programming.
- Experience Agile, Scrum, TDD
- Exposure to AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Exposure to Docker or other DevOps Technologies
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- SonarQube and writing clean code best practices
- Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle.
